UNGOVN is built to manufacture in small batches with independent workshops in Tirupur — India's own knitwear manufacturing hub — rather than committing to the large offshore minimum order quantities that force a brand to guess a full season before a single customer has seen the range.

That choice is not a marketing position. It is a capital decision: small-batch runs of 50–100 pieces per style let us make what actually sells, reorder what works, and avoid the dead stock that a bigger, cheaper offshore run would otherwise leave unsold in a warehouse.

Every piece starts as a sample before it becomes a size run — checked in hand, not approved from a photo — because at this scale, the fabric and the construction are the brand as much as the print on it.
